Call for submissions
The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) is calling for abstract submissions for free papers, how-to-sessions, rapid five, symposia and ePosters for the 2019 conference, taking place on 17-19 October 2019.
TRANSFORM 2019 will build upon the success of the 2017 APA conference and bring together all the APA national groups, which represent the full diversity of Australian physiotherapy.
The conference will feature prominent Australian and International researchers and clinicians presenting cutting-edge scientific research underpinned by their knowledge of clinical practice.
Held every two years, the APA conference provides an outlet for researchers and practitioners to network and exchange ideas. We invite all researchers, practitioners and clinicians to submit their abstracts to the Scientific Committee.
Authors whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at the conference will be invited to present in one of the following styles:
- 15 minute oral presentation (10 minutes with 3-5 minutes for questions and change over)
- how-to-session (30 minutes)
- rapid five presentation (five slides, five minutes)
- symposium (45 minutes).
The conference program will be structured around each of the national groups. The call for abstracts is open to any topics that fit at least one of the APA national groups calling for abstracts:
